Friday was our last day in Honduras. Below is our photo-blog of all the "last" adventures we had in Copan:
Last Zumba class with teachers and other students
Last Marimba Band class with teacher Rony
We did stop at the children's Mayan Museum for the kids to learn a bit more about the Mayan culture. There were lots of fun and informative games for the kids to play!
Mayan King - looks like Josiah!
This Mayan Queen looks like Emma!
We also got to go to another chocolate museum (that makes three!) in Copan. This one was the best as they were able to demonstrate live each step of the chocolate making process. We even got to help mix some of the chocolate!

Our three weeks in Copan, Honduras came and went so fast. We had to leave right after classes on Friday in order to get to El Salvador (by bus via Guatemala - more passport stamps!) before dark. Below are our final goodbyes with our host family and our teachers
Tito and Elda were amazing hosts!
Emma and her second teacher, Amadea
Josiah and his second teacher, Horbeli
Nicole with her second teacher, Kathy
Tyler which his second teacher, Ana
And then we were off to El Salvador. The drive was about 5 hours, going through Guatemala as it is quicker. Not much exciting to report on the arrival and hotel check in. We will spend all day Saturday doing tourist stuff before heading to the airport early Sunday morning for the next adventure - Nicaragua (via Costa Rica). We will miss Honduras, but we are excited for what the next adventure will be!
