Colombian Cooking Class

For our last day in Colombia we took a cooking class to make authentic Colombian food! This was Emma's favorite day - she loves cooking and that is what it was all about. First we went to the market and bought all our ingredients. It was a HUGE market and we got to try lots of fruits we had never seen before. Most were not very good (very sour!), but a few were not too bad. From there we went to the cooking school where we cut up and cooked our food. We even learned how to roll the trout into the shape of a rose - it was great! Tyler's favorite part was eating it - it was amazing food! Turns out we are not to bad at cooking Colombian Cuisine. Enjoy the pictures:

This wrapped up our time in Colombia. Our next blog post will be from Ecuador where we begin our Spanish classes on Monday. Our posts will likely slow down as we transition from tourist to student, but we will do our best to keep you all posted. One more picture of food we ate to wrap up this blog post:

Breakfast - because if there is no rice, its not Colombian!
